Emergency Management focuses on analysis, planning, decision-making, and the assignment of available resources to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from the effects of all hazards.
The goals of the Emergency Management are to save lives, prevent injuries, protect property and the environment.
CCEMA is hosting a fullscale exercise on Friday, September 7th, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. THe exercise will be at the Wyoming State Fairgrounds. We will be simulating a large-scale evacuation from the grandstands due to a tornado warning. We will also simulate rescues from damaged campers, injuries and a separate civil disturbance from protesters.
