The chart above represents Converse County's total revenue from fiscal years 2015 - 2021 by type. Property taxes continue to be the main source of revenue collections for the County with just over $143 million out of the total $168 million collected in fiscal year 2021. Just over $45 million of the total collected stayed in the general fund for County operations. The remaining revenue is distributed to the different taxing entities based on the current year's mill levy, the governing statute for that revenue source, or is applied to specific funds based on the revenue source.

This includes various transfers between internal funds such as reserve funds, operation funds, and the County insurance contribution fund.
